Does Local Goods Market have a storefront?

No. Local Goods Market is an online store and features all types of vendors, businesses and mom and pop shops. Some of vendors may have their own brick and mortar. But we are all digital… except for our great customer service and local hand delivery.

Do I have to create an account to shop?

No! You are more than welcome to shop as a guest. Creating an account will allow you to save your favorite items, follow your favorite vendors, and memorize shipping information to save you time.

How does Local Delivery work?

Local Delivery Service covers all of Duval County and select zip codes in Clay and St. Johns counties. It’s our method to deliver your orders right to your door, for one flat fee of $5. We pick your products up from the vendor(s) and bring them to your door. If you’re not home to accept the delivery, we’ll simply drop your order off and notify you that it’s there.

What if I buy furniture – is that still free shipping for Local Delivery?

We will do the best we can to deliver all orders for free with our Local Delivery service, but some items, like furniture, can be very large or bulky and may require special delivery, and additional hands on our part. We’ll let you know in advance if this is needed for your order. In general, over-sized items are larger than 2-feet by 2-feet and/or overweight items exceed 25 pounds. If your order falls into this category, we will contact you with options.

What is National Delivery and how does that work?

We think Jacksonville is the best, so much so that we want people in other cities to see what cool products come from our town. That is why we have set up a National Delivery system to help get our local products to friends and family elsewhere. We charge an incremental flat rate starting at $9.95, depending on the order size and weight. We utilize our Local Delivery Service network to pick products up from the vendors, packaged and ready to go, then ship them. We would love to drive them ourselves, but we are still waiting on teleportation to do that.

Do you offer shipping outside of the Local Delivery Area?

Yes, we offer National Delivery in incremental flat rates starting at $9.95.

Is $9.95 the cost for all orders shipped with National Delivery?

No. $9.95 is the first increment for shipment of small items. Cost is determined by size and weight. Unusually large or bulky items such as furniture may special shipping. Typically, oversized items are larger than 2-feet by 2-feet and/or overweight items exceed 25 pounds. If your order falls into this category, we will contact you with options.

Can I ship anywhere in the U.S.?

Yup! All 50 states.

Do you offer international shipping?

Not at this time.

Do you offer express delivery?

Not really. We aim to deliver your orders as quickly as possible, but please allow 2-3 business days for delivery from time of purchase, unless otherwise notified. Different vendors/products may have different lead times and some items such as custom, made-to-order, or back-ordered products may require special arrangements. We’ll will notify you if this applies to your purchase.

How long does it take to get my purchase after I buy something?

In general, it will take 2-3 business days, but that may vary depending on availability of products. We will deliver your order once all products are ready for delivery. Different vendors/products may have different lead times and some items such as custom, made-to-order, or back-ordered products may require special arrangements. We’ll will notify you if this applies to your purchase.

I’m having a problem with my account – where do I get technical support?

I’m not happy with my purchase. It isn’t what I expected. Can I return it?

Each vendor on Local Goods Market has their own return policy. If you are not happy with your purchase, please email us at customersupport@localgoodsmarket.com.

My order was marked as delivered, but it’s not here – what should I do?

If you received an email that says your order is complete and you are within the Local Delivery area but do not have your package, please contact customersupport@localgoodsmarket.com for further support.

If you requested National Delivery, your order will be marked complete once it has shipped. Please allow an additional 3 days from that time for delivery.

Can anyone become a vendor?

Pretty much! If you make or sell products “born” here or nurtured here and are interested in opening a Store on LocalGoodsMarket.com, please review the Terms of Use and Vendor Information. Then, create an account to sign up! Be sure to input all of your contact information, as we will reach out to confirm your Store so you can begin selling your products.

How do I feature my products on Local Goods Market? Does it matter if I don’t have very many?

Opening your own Store on LocalGoodsMarket.com is easy. To feature your products, whether you offer 2 or 20, you just need to review the Terms of Use and Vendor Information and set up an account. Be sure to input all of your contact information, as we will reach out to confirm your Store so you can begin selling your products.
